This course will help you understand and learn the concepts and practices of bookkeeping for non-profits in South Africa. This training will take place over two full days and you need to attend both days of the same course.

What You Will Learn

Delegates will be taught theory of accounting, value added tax and completing a vat 201 form, and inventory systems. You will be walked through the bookkeeping cycle, completing source documents, bank reconciliations, posting to the general ledger, completing a trial balance and producing a statement of profit and loss along with the balance.

Who Should Attend

This course is for finance administrators in the non-profit sector with little or no bookkeeping experience.
